I forgot which day that fateful incident occurred.Until i heard the songs aired on radio.
It was too long ago.Or was it really that long? Duration can be an unfair measuring tape.Or perhaps all along, i was the one with parallex error in judgement? It has been exactly one year.(Yes, my memory is that bad.I had to click on my AUG 2004 archives.)But, certainly, I rmb what happened, how it happened.
I think my wound has turned into a scar.Scars are ugly.But from my optimistic kaleidoscope,at least scars dun hurt.They juz remind us of some beautiful memories and hurting past,that has dried and healed.If so, scars can be beautiful too.
I am was a naive artist.I used to paint a beautiful portrait.The more beautiful you paint a picture,the more hurt you would feel in giving it away.I didnt choose to give it away.But whats the point in holding on or nailing it to the wall,if it wasnt meant to be mine?I decide to donate my painting.Why not think of it as a charitable cause then?At least the painting will be in d hands.Sometimes,my frens sneer at my nobility.*Puih*.Nobility cant be eaten.
The amateur artist has regained her conciousness.No longer naive, I pledge to be more cautious in my future paintings. I still believe in painting full-heartedly, for there will be some admirers who can appreciate my artworks.
For now,Im no longer a museum display. Gallery open for public viewing.
Hope every reader reading this blog entry will find his/her own unique painting in that suitable gallery.
