My [you-shi-yi-lai] celebration on Spore Natl Day itself! For the previous yrs, i was glued to colours-display-and-tiny-red-ants-dancing on TV.Public hols are rare on the Spore calendar, so it is usually stay-home-avoid-crowd affair for me.Strangely made my resolution to catch a LIVE celebration and fireworks in Singapura this 4oth yr!(Yeah, Spore celebrating her BIG year, shall I celebrate mine too??!!?) Kinda to commemorate my turning- 15th Anniversary of studying in Spore.
Walked our way from Marina Bay MRT,since feeder buses have got damn long q. Sigh, healthy living again.
Had a sambal-filled steamboat buffet dinner w Cindy and FanLi.Haha, we added too much butter(w intentions to speed up the grilling rate).So, the charcoal-ness was an expected birthmark. (Tongue-out) FanLi got uncountable plates of sambal for us all. And being Chilli Queen, haha, i reacted like PEG-MAN! Gobbled,gobbled,gobbled....Chomped, chomped,chomped!Even PRC knows HOW to eat spicy food leh, watz the big deal abt 5kg of chillis?
Eating and sweating like pig(hair feels so greazy,eeks) when the fireworks started!Instantaneously tHREW our chopsticks and rushed to an open space(almost 4got to grab our valuables,phew~), to access the clear nite sky! uP AND ABOVE,WOooSShhhHHHH!!!No doubt, RonG is a small gal, but i shrank further under the rainbow of fireworks! SHi jie yi ran mei hao, yang guang yi jiu can lan. (The world is still as beautiful, the beams are still as radiant) That is the inexplicable flg i get ... and it reminds me of each CNY fireworks blasting in grandpas old shophouse in Segamat,how my lil cutie couzies will run abt, setting ablast the sparklers(which i still adore,haha, i still have the kid in me lah &_&) Purely simple deeds to keep a simple gal happie.

The whole event abt this talent search contest, well, u cant eliminate the popularity contest at the end of the day. U can be talented, but if u dun have the fans or frens,family crowd to spend a bomb in sms-ing to support u ALL THE WAY (the telecomm companies are grinning ear to ear), u will STILL be FORCED to drop out at each stage, be it qualifying rounds,semi-finals, finals.
And the BIG SCREEN flashed not only Bday wishes to Singapore,but wishes and affectionate dedication to loved ones too!Glad to meet FanLi, and a few new found frens introduced by Chan Lee. Ahem, ahem, a bit like SDU session for someone in particular,lol... SssHHHhhh... U noe, i noe...No wonder the urgency in gttg the photos rite? haha...
