Mums bday! It felt like yest when we juz celebrated her 50th da-shou!Yet anthr hurried year has gone by.She was complaining to us how she has aged.But she was relieved to see us growing up day by day.
I feel tat my family owes mum so much. Those silent sufferings and sacrifices,sometimes gone unoticed/unappreciated.Thank you for being our mum, dads wife, a solid foundation of our house HOME.
To Mama YEP: You will always be young at heart!Really, i thiNk its hard to find a mum who can be my friend, my advisor, my confidant,my nagging lecturer on a great whole pokka dots of issues.And the best thg of all is she laughs at us and laughs with us!
I personally feel mums are often the best teachers of life.

I wana my mum to stay with me for as long as ever.She can grow old, but i wish for her to age gracefully, to age healthily.I am still aiming to bring my parents for a tour as soon as I have saved enough from work.Actually, they can afford to tk a brk from work. Juz tat, i wana use my hard-earned money to exchg a relaxation they ever-so-deserved.A token of kindness to repay them for bringing me up,with responsibilites and with love.

Coz Daddie treated us to a burrppingllyyyy-heavy dinner at Tmn Molek Tai Son Restaurant. Havent been there since it renovated.Whooo,the ambience was not bad.I cld see the Abalone and Sharks Fin and Birds Nest on display from whr we were ushered to be seated.Juz flipping the menu made me salivated...drool drool. THe attap concept with the Koi pond and big stewing pots was tian yi wu feng. Juz tat the bigscreen plasma spoilt the natural evnrmt it was trying to create.The lightings out door was of the right dimness, hee hee, romantic atmostphere if u eliminate the feasting crowd.

Yuan Yang Drunken Prawns(all drunked by this dish,haha)
Lobster Salad Cold Dish (Elder sis almost cleared the entire plate)
Vegetarian mixed Zhai Chai with tau pok( the brocolli was crispy enuf to my liking)
Steamed grouper,HK style(wa, real tender flesh,espy at the gills part)
Braised Sea Cucumber with Goose Legs.(the gravy was thick enuf, marvellous...)
No soup ordered, coz mum prepared Pig Stomach Soup at home liao...Soups are mums way of adoration. Hee, gulped down in glee.Luckily didnt order ar, or else, our car wun be able to tk our weights.THINK: 5pax...Dad often fails his estimation theory.
Dad was so generous with his tips, coz he felt the waiters are polite and humble. Haha,rice-dustbin-dad refilled his rice thrice! I was on the verge of standing up to stop his 4th bowl!Xiao-fan, ya rite!
And the next aftn, aft we went shopping for an excercise machine for mum, Dad intended to brg us to try his latest [discovery]. He likes gg on foodhunts!Haha, dad spoils us in terms of makanan!
BUT,unfortunately,our taste buds werent lucky!That Famous Fried Vermicelli(since 1967) was sold out when we arrived at 245pm.Sigh, and the TWO ROARING YEP sistas screamed at my slow parking skills.OK,my fault!
Sggsted we go to Ah Hua Guo Tiao stall..but i duno its exact location. Yumin, whr is it huh? U tell me, i tell my dad. Then, when i get to makan, i da bao for u,hee! DEAL? Ended up at Jiang Ji Xia dao Fishballs shop. Nvm, equally delicious balls and fishcakes and wu xiangs. I finished 3 plates of sambals.ALONE.Hahaha.The minced meat soup was a bit salty tat day but we skipped it.Yea, dads turn to lecture on MSG and falling hairs. Wat a perfect couple Dad and mum is!
Maybe tatz y i dun accomplish much at home ovr wkends. Spent too much time eating, slpg and slacking.Only thg i was proud of: played a few piano tunes.HEck,wkends are precious family time! Hoorrayy!
