Disappointment crawled in when Derrick was out of the semi-finals. Sigh for him. Sigh for his fans. Perhaps he didn’t have the luck to reach the end of the road to stardom. Perhaps he didn’t have as much votes as compared to the other contestants.The yardstick became the no. of votes and no. of supporters u can garner to vote for you.It is yet another popularity contest after all. Well, all is not lost.Im certain Derrick can go far with his voice.
Some claimed that Derrick got in due to his boyish looks. True? U decide.But, why not close ur eyes as u listen to his songs, the way he delivered them.TURN OFF any visual effects. I still think the audio pleasure is there.At least, he made it to the stage, his stage. How many of us have the chance, or more impty, the courage to pursue our own dreams? He dared to dream and he stepped out to fulfil his dreams.That is sth i find appealing in guys. The dare to dream part.
Quite upset that JunYang and Xin Hui didn’t get into finals too. Each contestant has his own unique pitch range and style. There are also many worthy opponents who left the stage early.Eg. William, Candice etc.Fear not, true talents survive anywhere.
Listening to his songs makes my heart skips!The blend of masculinity and boyishness...awww...[Not a boy, not yet a man.] The way to a gals heart is to croon.Another,is perhaps, to strum your way to her fang xin.Guitar strings,however taut with resistance, may slacken under melting attempts to conquer.(haha, i dun mind violin or saxaphone too)...Spkg for myself only, may not be applicable across board.So male readers, do rmb to test waters first.Female species come in all shapes and sizes.
