But this is honeymoon, accrdg to a NIE snr.In NIE, u cant be late for tuts, coz they threaten to deduct ur pay.Since u are paid to study, U need to display exemplary conduct at all times,so as to be role models for prospective students.You need to dress even for tuts.following [guidelines] of the standard tcher outlook.7 chaps of child psychology condensed in a 4hrs lect(w/o brk),not only be specialised mugger for 1st teaching subj, but also excel in 2nd teaching subj.You are also expected to know your content mastery inside-out,stay in touch with latest scientific discoveries via seminars/workshops,attend Dreamweavers course to upgrade IT skills(MAN!I will sure flunk this component in NIE!)Deadlines to finalise teaching pedagogy prjts, mass teaching fellowship..etc..Finally, some HOD or high officails will grade you for classroom practicum.Consider urself lucky if the monkeys or rebels decide to cooperate to put up a proper,attentive 45mins lesson.(And this is only the discipline component, ur gestures, tone, ur pre-class-preparation,teaching aids,etc..will all be considered.And the elaboration goes on...

Booth Manning for Community Service Club:Grant A Wish Project.TUE,6th Sept,10 to 12pm.WED,7th Sept,2-4pm.Come support if u care enough. Not to support me. But to supprt the childeren! Personally, I took this up since i found it a meaningful prjt.I already had in mind which wishes to grant. But since they desparately need volunteer helpers,I decided to squeeze 4 hrs off my nxt torturous wk.Yes, busy as I am,I shd say no. But knowing that the children benefitted from my insignificant contribution of manning a booth,beats sitting thru 4 hrs of lects anytime!
