An early morn wake-up alarm and yet, i still missed to see DADA cross the finishing line at Real Run 2006 this morn. Sigh, can sense his disappointment.*Guilty* Wasnt THAT supposed to be my main aim of hitting Sentosa Island?!!!
Felt so sun-kissed after basking myself in a short suntan. Too bad i have yet to achv my desired tone. Will keep tanning if i can afford the time...but hopefully, i wldnt peal from any sunburn. Admiration often knocks at those hot babes who can be so stunningly striking in bikinis or sports attire. Well,I still have a long way to go. Pity DADA's eyes for enduring my not-so-perfect waistline and flabby thighs. Hehe,u're still the record holder for the max amt of sweat perspirated over a 10km run.
A journey of historic trail and some reflections on war commemoration sends me thinking of how life wld be if we were to have WW3. Dates need not always be movies or meals together, but rather, spending quality time to engage in activities that the other partner enjoys.
Though they were beyond my usual interest, it was enriching to learn abt stuff beyond my scope of views. That is what sharing and growing thru learning is all about... You do not necessarily need to love what the other party is enjoying. Neither do you need to enjoy what the other party loves.But, I certainly see the light in appreciating what the other party loves and enjoys, since that is part of the discovery of him/her too.
It is often true that we neglect what is there, only to reminisce abt its presence when it is not. So much over the lament of the disappearance of the monorails and old coin-slotting phone booths!Gone were the monorails, but uneraserable were many happy faces and memories on those monorails with my old buddies from BPGHS and NJ.
And today, I created history once again in Sentosa with a special person in my heart.
