IF only we took things at a slower pace...It is true that we ought to pause and see the big picture. It was only a matter of time. The panic in me got the upper hand...and...it won.I heaved a sigh of relief that, at least, we secured a room. The realization of how situations can change in a matter of 24hours really shocks me.
So near; yet so far.
This phrase resonates a very deep meaning to me even till this day. I hate the helplessness in certain situations. It is a sickening feeling to let a person go when he was just right in front of you. It is a sickening feeling to let a thing go when it is still within your grasp; or almost.
U think to urself:It was supposed to be mine! But how did things turn out this way? Pre-destined arrangementsby G.O.D(I specify a universal one here) and I always self-console that things were never meant to be. But we know it was such helplessness that led us to self-console. Yet, what can we do?
A room was gone but a room came by; albeit not effortlessly.
I lost someone unwillingly but I gained another miraculously.
I still believe in creating chances in life. Chances are what we give others, as well as,ourselves. I suppose I gave the right person the rightful chance to prove his worth and will continue validating to make this a chance of a lifetime.
