Marriage to me is believing in love. Believing that the exisitng love will succumb all odds to reach the destination both parties desire.Believing that they can achieve their lifegoals hand in hand. Believing that they will be there for each other, even when one of them falls.
Yes, true love never did run smooth, nor all things that are worth doing, for it is in the effort expended that beefs it up (just like training). Without this intensity, where would the beauty be? Like the lightbulb, the fiercer it burns, the brighter it gets?
Start or end?
End of a chapter, start of the next, or even, start of the next volume?
I feel it is a story we have the control to keep writing for, as long as we want to.
Knowing that something may end with our life, I would treasure it more and not take it for granted... but even then, is it possible for this love to endure past mortality? Before the theme song from Titanic got played to its death, I think it does have a point: My love shall go on and on...Not just romantic love, of course, but love to all around us, even for our country, in the little acts of service, words of affirmation, physical touch where applicable, gifts, and time (from 5 languages of love). These shall endure even after we are gone.
